My first fashion design, first time on a sewing machine & first runway.
This look represents our societies reliance of plastic, comparing this relationship to a marriage in which we are wed to and in plastic. The whole look, including the customized shoes and gloves, are distressed and adorned in safety pins as a stylistic choice and a way of representing the destruction our plastic use has caused.
The veil is heavily inspired by the poodle veil by Wiederhoft and drag queen Lexi Love's design look on drag race.
